The 6th annual U10 Champions tournament was played at the Aviva Centre in Toronto the weekend of February 15 to 17. 53 boys and 46 girls competed in round robin play, followed by elimination draws, for a total of $10,000 in coaching bursaries The two champions, one boy and one girl, will each receive $3,000 worth of private coaching over a two year period, while the two finalists will receive $2,000 towards coaching over the same period. Tournament founder and benefactor Murray Rubin and his wife Roda have donated more than $100,000 to the program since its inception in 2013.
After three full days of competition and more than 240 matches, the final results for the Championship flight were as follows:
