The 2019 Gus Morhart Ontario Open was chock full of top Ontario juniors and they did not disappoint! The Women’s singles final was a battle between 2 of the province’s top junior competitors, Kristen Borland and Dharani Niroshan and the Men’s double’s finalists, Nick Lagaev and Jared Horwood were also Ontario junior competitors. Dharini then partnered with Julia Kuszynski, another junior, to take the Women’s Doubles crown. In the Provincial 5.0 and Provincial 4.0 tournaments, the winners and finalists were not quite as yuoung but just as impressive, especially multiple-time Davisville 5.0 Championship winner Jason Christie who was victorious again in 2019!
