WHAT A YEAR!

Fall 2019

Bianca Andreescu from Mississauga, Ontario had the single greatest year of any Canadian pro tennis player ever – male or female! From a WTA world ranking of 152 at the beginning of the year, Bianca went on a tear, getting to her first WTA final in New Zealand in early January, winning her first WTA crown at Newport Beach in late January, winning the Indian Wells WTA Mandatory Premier tournament in March, the Rogers Cup in August and the US Open title in September, defeating Serena Williams in the final!
